NO SMELL
Thanks to ventilation pipes smell flows out from the room space to the roof. The separation of liquid and solid waste in the seat part helps to minimize smell of the toilet.
Applying suitable bulking material is essential for proper operation of the toilet. We recommend to use Bulking material for composts and drytoilets 35 l. Before using the toilet, place a layer a couple of centimetres thick on the bottom of the inner receptacle. The dry bedding does not need to be added every time the toilet is used; adding it after defecation is sufficient.

When you separate* liquid and solid waste you are creating two reusable materials that can be put back into the environment. After composting solid can be used in the garden. Separated urine is a nitrogen rich fertilizer for trees.
HYGIENIC
The toilet is easy to empty. Just open the lid and lift up the receptacle. Simplett Dry toilet comes with thermal seat which is warm and comfortable all year around. If necessary, toilet may be cleaned using common domestic cleaning agents.
Biolan’s ventilation set is sold separately.
*Separation of the liquid and the solid waste requires that the Separating Dry Toilet must always be used in the seated position.

The unit requires neither water nor a sewer to operate just electric power. The operating principle of the unit is to freeze the waste. The unit cools the waste to -15 degrees Centigrade, at which temperature the microbial activity stops. Thanks to the heat lock formed by the condensing air, the Icelett is pleasant to sit on, and the seat does not feel cold.

Biolan Rooftop Ventilator is a wind-powered ventilation fan for dry toilets, wastewater treatment plants, and other ventilation applications. When installing in a storage space or bathroom, make sure that no condensation or rainwater can enter the structures of the building. In cold premises, insulate pipes where necessary. The operation of the rooftop fan is not dependent on wind direction.

Insulated seat is made of high-quality polypropylene, so it is comfortable and durable. Thanks to hinge pins it is easy to install and replace it in a minute. The distance between hinge pins is adjustable (either 16 cm or 18 cm). Easy to clean using common domestic cleaning agents.
